It was very difficult for me to have to have spent time recently in a correctional facility. Working with the limited supplies allowed, I managed to create some sketches and for most a photocopy I could then add colour to, in order to help my mind cope with the changes the experience has brought upon my life and circumstances. I am at the time of this writing unconvicted on any charges and hope to remain so post my pending trial. No references of any actual images of the subject figures were available to use so everything had to be drawn from memory. There was also no ruler or compass or even an eraser so every line and shading was only produced once and in a few cases I had to redo graphite lines on the colour photocopy which did not translate from the original. If you think any of that was simple to achieve for these relatively uncomplicated sketches, you are wrong.
